Tom Foy found in the late 1980’s that American Legions,
VFWS, and related organizations were having a difficult time obtaining proper
insurance for their posts. Tom served his country in Vietnam, knew that the
folks involved with these organizations were good people, and he wanted to
help. He partnered with an insurance company with which his father, Francis
Foy, had got his start following his involvement in WWII (where Francis was a
POW for seven months after being shot down in a B24 Bomber).
Tom has worked side by side with the Great American
Insurance Company providing Replacement Cost on Buildings & Contents,
Commercial General Liability including Liquor Legal Liability, Workers
Compensation, and Disability Insurance. Tom takes great pride in visiting with
each post to learn their unique situations and he insures them on an individual
basis. Foy Agency Insurance currently insures over 280 Posts & Legions and we
are always open to welcome more to our program.
