Personal Insurance

For the last 60 years, the Foy Agency Insurance has been providing peace of mind to many Northern New York homeowners & automobile owners through our Auto & Homeowner Combined Insurance Packages. We won’t stop there, either. We will look at your:

  • Landlord Risks
  • Motorcycles
  • Recreational Vehicles
  • Farms

…as well as any other asset that is important to you and your family.

We have worked with many commercial insurance companies over the years.

Foy Agency Insurance is proud to say that we have developed long-lasting relationships with many National and Regional Insurance Companies. We believe that we have a due diligence to place your insurance needs with a financially sound insurance company and we take that responsibility very seriously. We are a generalist’s agency and we will look at risks such as Food Service, Manufacturing, Agricultural, Lodging, Mechanical, and anything in between. The Foy Agency Insurance is prepared to handle your Commercial Insurance needs including:

  • Property
  • Disability
  • Umbrella
  • Business Auto
  • Commercial Liability
  • Workers’ Compensation
  • Bonds

Give Mike or Jeff a call. They would be more than happy to provide your business with advice that may make a difference in whether you reopen or not after a Catastrophic Event. It may be the best phone call you make.

Foy Agency Insurance strives to be a step above when you need us the most. When you have a claim, the Foy Agency Insurance is there to guide you through the claims process. We make sure you are being treated respectfully and fairly. In the event that you need to file a claim and we are closed, we encourage you to contact either Jeff Foy or Mike Hayes on their personal cell phones which are both listed on the Foy Agency Insurance answering machine.
Some general tips in the event of a claim are:

  • Contact your agent as soon as possible.
  • Ask the other party for their insurance information.
  • Get license plate information for anyone involved.
  • Write a description of the accident with details.
  • Do not admit fault or liability.

Get an estimate on the damage from a reputable contractor or the repair shop of your choice.
Keep track of any receipts used in relation to the claim that you pay out of pocket.
Be honest and cooperative with insurance representatives & adjusters. They will do the same.
